Recent Book Cover Commission for Jamel Cato's upcoming "The Night Sister" book. Story centres around an Assassin who has forgotten her past until a mysterious parchment reawakens her lost memories.

I liked the idea of making this piece full of light and warmth, kind of the opposite of what you normally expect when thinking of assassins. Yet in her attitude and manner I still tried to keep that cold edge to her . Was a lot of fun to work on and try and balance the themes. I also tried to hint at some african design patterns in parts of her outfit along with a flower theme (that was signficiant to part of her back story).
